Week of March 3

This week we will begin Lent starting on Ash Wednesday. There will not be mass on Tuesday.

Tests This Week:

Reading & Spelling: L20 Tests will be on Friday. This is a review of the past 4 Lessons and Spelling and the past 4 lessons in Reading. In order to study for Reading, we would suggest reviewing the workbook pages from Lesson 16-19

English: Please review Unit 2 with your child over the next couple of days. We will have a test on Thursday covering all of Unit 2. Singular and Plural possessive nouns seem to be the biggest struggle.

Relgion: Miss Binder's class will have a test on Chapter 10 on Thursday.

Social Studies:  Reminder - The settlement project is due Wednesday. No report is neccessary, but students must be able to explain the pictures on their poster of the community they chose. The poster should illustrate key events in the settlement of their community as well as how each settlement affected the landscape of the area.

Math:  We will continue to have math quizzes based on multiplication and division facts. Continue to practice your facts at home!
