Social Studies Timeline Project

Dear Parents,

In Social Studies we have been learning about inventors or inventions that have helped communities grow and develop. As part of this chapter we will be making a timeline of inventions. The students will work in groups of   2-3 (teacher picked groups) to make their timeline of inventions.

        In class the students will work with their group members to find             7 inventions to include on their timeline. 

The timeline must include: 

1.   The invention or item invented
2.   3-4 facts about each invention
3.   The name of the inventor who invented it
4.   The year it was invented
5.   Pictures of inventions or inventors

The students will be given some time in class to work on their timeline together, however they may need to meet outside of class to finish decorating their timelines.

Timelines are due May 13
