The next couple of weeks in 3rd grade will be a little different than usual.
This Wednesday Firefighter TJ will be visiting us again to teach us more about Fire Safety.
Conferences will be taking place Thursday night and Friday morning, therefore the students will not have school on Friday.
Because of the shorter week, we will be having the Theme 2 reading test and Lesson 10 spelling test on Tuesday of next week (Nov. 17). The students will not have a Lesson 10 vocabulary quiz.
This week the 3rd graders will be sent home with a permission slip for a field trip to see a play at the Tivoli Theatre on December 3. Please be sure to return the permission slip and money to school by Monday November 30.
The 3rd graders are also collecting any leftover or unwanted Halloween candy from anyone in the school. Later, we will decorate bags and fill them with this candy to give away as presents to the food pantry and a local orphanage.
