Report cards were sent home with students last Friday. Only the yellow envelope is to be signed and returned this week. Thank you!
The next book report will be due Friday, February 12
Students who attended mass this past weekend and received an Out Of Uniform pass are allowed to be out of uniform this Friday Jan.29. Remember to bring in the Out Of Uniform pass on Friday.
In Social Studies the students are continuing to learn about the different regions of the United States, along with the various climates and resources in these regions. The next Social Studies Test is planned for later next week, on Chapter 5.
In Reading this week we will be learning more about prefixes, suffixes, adjectives, and using a Venn diagram to help compare/contrast settings and characters in stories.
In Math this week we will be finishing off Chapter 6 on division and relating division to multiplication. The students will have their Chapter 6 Math test early next week.
Next week, a few of the third graders will have reading parts at the Catholic School's Mass on Tuesday.
The 3rd graders will also be working with the 6th graders to present the Stations of the Cross on Friday, February 12.
