This week the students will not have school on Friday due to a Teacher Institute.
In Reading.... this week the 3rd graders will continue learning about the sequence in stories. They will also review verbs and learn about helping verbs. Due to the shorter week, the Lesson 22 vocabulary quiz will be on Wednesday and the Lesson 22 Reading Test will be on Thursday. The Lesson 22 Spelling Test will also be on Thursday this week.
In Math... the students have began learning about fractions. This week we will continue working with fractions that are part of a whole.
In Social Studies... the third graders will be reviewing Chapter 6 this week. The Chapter 6 Test will be on Wednesday.
In Science... the students have been learning about the planets and moons of our solar system. The next Science Test (Unit C Ch.3) will be next Tuesday March 8.
At tomorrow's Tuesday school mass some of the students from Miss Martinez's class will be reading parts and bringing up the gifts.
This Thursday the whole school will be going to church for Reconciliation to help prepare for Easter.
