In Reading and Spelling....the students will be focusing on prefixes, cause and effect, homophones, and using present tense verbs.
In Math...we will continue learning about fractions and finish off Ch.8 in our Math books. There will be a test on Ch.8 sometime next week.
In Science... the students have a test on Unit C Ch.3 tomorrow (Tuesday). The 3rd graders have also begun working on their planets project in science class. They were given a handout last week further explaining the project.
In Social Studies... we will be learning about European explorers who traveled to America in Ch.7.
In Religion....Miss Martinez's class will be having a Ch.9 Test on Wednesday.
*If you still have not sent the signed Progress Report back to school please do so as soon as possible.*
There has been a shortage of Storytown books in both 3rd grade classrooms recently. We suspect some students may be forgetting to bring back their books Friday after bringing them home to study for the test. Please remind students to check that they are bringing back Storytown books on Friday.
*The next book reports will passed out this week and are due Wednesday, March 23.*
