Math - The students will have a math test on Tuesday this week. The test will be about fractions from Ch.8. We will continue working with fractions this week and begin working on comparing fractions.
Science - The 3rd graders are continuing to research and work on their Science projects in class. They have also been spending time during LRC to research and work on their projects together. The Written Portion of the project is due March 21 and the Visual Aids are due April 20.
Social Studies - We will continue learning about European explorers that traveled and settled in North America. This week we will be focusing more on the Spanish and French explorers that were in search of a water route to China and India.
Reading - The students will focus on identifying cause-and-effect relationships, homophones, facts vs opinions, use past and future tense verbs correctly in sentences.
**The next book report is due Wednesday, March 23**
