Reading and Spelling - This week the students will be reviewing concepts and spelling words learned from lesson 21-24. The Theme 5 Reading Test will be a review of sequence, cause-and-effect, "be" verbs, main verbs, helping verbs, present-tense, and future-tense verbs. There will be no Vocabulary quiz on Thursday. The Theme 5 Spelling and Reading tests will be on Friday.
Math - This week the 3rd graders will learn about equivalent fractions. There will be a short test on equivalents fractions and comparing fractions later this week.
Science - The visual aid for the Planets project is due April 20.
Social Studies - In Social Studies this week the students will review Ch.7 and the European explorers who were in search of a water route to India/China. There will be a Ch.7 Test on Wednesday.
**Please remember to sign Report Card Envelopes and return them to school as soon as possible.**
**The next book report is due Thursday, April 21**
