Spelling - We will be focusing on spelling words with the suffixes -able, -ible, -less, and -ous.
Reading - This week the students will be reading a realistic fiction story, will practice making predictions, will work on using contractions and homographs correctly in writing.
Math - The 3rd graders will be finishing Ch.10 this week and begin working on perimeter and area in Ch.11. Miss Martinez's class will have their Ch.10 Math test on Wednesday.
Science - There will be a test on Unit B Ch.1 on Wednesday
Social Studies - In social studies the students will be finishing Ch.8 this week about inventions and inventors. The test on Ch.8 will be later next week. The Timelines are due Wednesday May 4.
This Friday some of the 3rd grade students will have reading parts or be candle bearers at the St. Joseph the Worker prayer service. The prayer service begins at 1:10 pm in the church. We hope to see parents and family Friday afternoon.
