This week....
Reading - There will be a vocabulary quiz Wednesday on the Lesson 5 vocabulary words. The Theme 1 reading test will be Thursday. On Friday we will begin Lesson 6 in the Storytown text.
**Reminder: Final copy of Autobiography is due Thursday**
Spelling - The Lesson 5 spelling test will be Thursday.
Math - The 3rd graders will continue Chapter 2 about using graphs and charts.
Religion - We will be finishing Chapter 3 this week. The Ch.3 test will be Friday. Friday we will join the whole school in praying the Rosary at 1:15 pm in Church.
Science - In Science this week the students will continue learning about the life cycles of animals. 3rd graders will learn about the characteristics of mammals and will learn to differentiate between instinct and learned behavior.
Social Studies - The students will continue working on their Communities Project in class this week. The Communities Project will be due Thursday Oct. 20.
**Friday morning the whole school will silently walk around the school to participate in Move Your Feet to give a child a seat in Catholic Schools. It is suggested for every student to bring in a $1 donation for this event.**
